Update on High flow valve (Regulator project)
Well, Im building a high flow valve and pre-chamber for a 2000psi reg for my 18″ .22 talon.
The go my M18 x 1.5mm die to do the tank threads and have almost finished the valve. I still need to find a suitable valve return spring and make a delrin valve seal.
Aluminium round bar is coming tomorow and I should be able to post pics tomorow night when its complete.
Im buying the regulated bottle next week (Has an 850psi reg) and getting a 2000psi reg from expertHPA in the near future.
Anyway, here are the pics, pretty much done all of the finishing work on the stem and body.

Very nice work there bud, I made a similar sized valve for my Gunpower and was initially disappointed with its performance. Then I realised that the 3000 psi was too much for my hammer and hammer spring combo, so trying it at around 800 psi with the same hammer/spring combo I got FAR more performance. I too am in the process of buying a 48 ci airtank with 800-900 psi reg fitted.
I am really interested in reg design, does anyone know of any available diagrams or designs on the net?
Production begins when I have enough money to buy a good sized lathe 😀
Should hopefully be able to chuck the lead at a good speed

Thanks, I painted the adapter with Plasti-cote bbq paint and it looks pretty nice, Black of course.
Im buying the 48CI tank with an 850psi regulator this weekend and might either buy the set of disk springs from expertHPA for 2000psi or buy their 2000psi reg.

Wow, that looks great!
Aluminium arrived today, turned, bored, threaded it and cut it for the o-rings.
Decided to recess the valve back into the adapter for a clearer look and fit.
Just modeled it with an old 13ci paintball tank which is about the same length as the 48ci tank. Looks like it will work well.
