Pablouk…..I like your choice…really like it….I have a few questions…I have the fx whisper. Just got it a week ago… Would I need the high weaver style mounts for a scope like yours? I think I would because of the magazine..and the size of the bell on your scope…..would you agree? I guess I would get my rings from Hawke as well…30mm ones….same as tube on the scope.. And I’m wondering where you bought your scope…that’s nice chunk of change and I’m looking around for the GOOD price….What kind of rifle did you put the your scope on? Thanks don Sorry for so many questions

Its on mY Talon using BKL double strap high mounts. These would keep the ob JUST clear of the scope rail if it was longer. Hold on, lemmie take a pic’ for you….*trots off to get camera…*

So you deff need high mounts with it.. Gives good clearance at the magazine section, though how big does your fx mag stick up….

you ill like the Hawke scope. Does good on my Revolution, but it is too much for it, so, I will mount it on my TT25 condor 😉
good glass

I’m liking the gun. I need a good scope. I’m thinking real hard about the Hawke. I have a 6x rws scope on it now and I’m shooting 1.5 inch groups all day long at 50 yards. I have not had a real calm day yet, soooo I think with a nice scope and practice, getting used to the gun., I can do better. I feel like me and the scope or lack there of are holding the gun back from doing better…..I hope that is the case………As far as mods go, I want to see what this thing will do stock, with a nice scope and with me having a little more time with it……..A WHISPER it is not ….but it is pretty quiet, and I’m ok with that part of it….it feels good and looks good. I have felt your pain waiting for the gun to show up. It took forever. Next gun I get won’t come ups GROUND. I’ll pay extra to quick it up a little….15.9’s are the pellet of choice for mine so far………Let us hear all about it when you get yours…don

I’m hoping my Whisper will be delivered this next week also. Seems like it has been on order forever…

Keep us posted of how you like it and any mods you do.

who did you get your scope from? Are you happy with it? I have been thinking of getting a Hawke for my whisper…..don

I have the Hawke Sidewinder 3-12×50 and am very happy with it. Good bright colours and very sharp.

I put mounts and scope on today. Hawke Varmint II 6-24X40 w/ BKL
263 High mounts. Might have been able to use medium, but mag would not have fit under turrte saddle. Shot some approx 50 ft. indoors and was 4″ low and 1.5 left after centering the scope by the count the turns method. For some reason using a mirror has never worked for me. Will try it again though because I obvoiusly have some shimming in my future.
Balls, you were right. They all seem to go the same place, at least at that distance. Looks like in order to put things in the shroud it will have to be done with the shroud removed. The muzzle plug is not the full diameter of the tube. More later as distance increases.

Mine is to be delivered on Monday……can not wait. Let us hear what you think of yours…don

You’re about to become obsessed with smaller and smaller shot groups. Pretty soon you won’t be happy with anything bigger than a dime at fifty yards.

You’ll see I’m not kidding.
