Regulator pre-chamber project almost done
48CI paintball tank arrived today, Ive shimmed the spring stack just for testing.
Length of pull is about 1.5″ longer than the stock tank, but Im 6 foot 2 and seem to handle it well.
No velocity testing yet because my two selphb valves havent arrived but they will be hopefully be coming soon 😀
What yall think?

I’m sure I can do better than just 10 pellets each, you’ll need more than that to gather any meaningful data.
I may need a barrel shortening in the future…… 😀

Pab that would be great, just maybe 10 pellets of each tin, then I can shoot 2 groups, one at 35 yards and another at 75, should sort them out 😀
I havent got my barrel or valves at the moment so you wouldnt have to send it yet.

Ohh, and some H&N Ram points(.25 crowmags) you should try them also. I can make you up a mix selection for testing 😀
Just realised that from what I can find, there isnt a bullet shaped pellet in .25 like the H&N rabbit magnum or the eley magnum.
I might have to have a look and see what I can find

I’ve got some .25 Jerry slugs you can try if you want, also some Eunjins and Samyangs…

Alright then pab, Ill tune the regulated setup for 950fps which should give me a shit load of shots at those speeds.
Just realised that from what I can find, there isnt a bullet shaped pellet in .25 like the H&N rabbit magnum or the eley magnum.
I might have to have a look and see what I can find

I was planning on getting the regulated setup to shoot around 950-1000fps with its most accurate pellet
And and tuning the valve in the unregulated tank for max power. Just a project to see if I can get a pellet/bullet to shoot accuratley at supersonic speeds. Im guessing it wont work out and I would tune it back down to get the .25 kodiaks up to just over 1000fps

Have tried the Kods at those speeds in both BSA and LW. Soon as they go over about 975, the group opens up big time. Keep them 950 or below and you can stack them…

Just realised that the 970fps I was getting was with an 18″ barrel, with this 24″ they should be really zipping along

18g from 18″ doing 970fps with 200psi reg..
So if you use the KINGs(you can’t get them in this country by the way) they are 25.4g you will put them out aroud the 1000-1050 fps I reckon. They stay stable at those speeds at 40 yards, not tried them further, but you will be right on the edge..
H&N ‘cudas at 31g will be the best choice then I think. At 950s they are very accurate

Ive got my .25 barrel coming soon so I will have to stock up on some new ammo 😀

If you can get your hands on some JSB Exact Kings, I can thoroughly recommend them for the .25

Barrel shortening can easily be done. BTW I have a nice polished 12″ .22 barrel sitting in my cabinet looking for a good home 😀
