My power wheel…
by it’s self moved from 4.8 down to 3.2…I was outside sighting in new scope on my TSS and just about had it right when POI drpped about an inch, then another,,I stopped got to checking, and found PW was on 3.2..I LEAVE it on 4.8 for tree-rats/blue jays, etc,etc,etc….is there an adjustment to tighten up the tension on hte wheel? I think I remember reading that a guy had accidentally overfilled his gun to like 3350-3400 and he found the PW had “turned itself down”…but that is the only time I’ve read about anyone having trouble with it…until mine did it today 😯 😯 SO, is there an adjustment??..No one lives here but me, and I didn’t turn it down, so waaazzzzzup?

Just for the record…power wheel has not moved again , none whatsoever..I MUST have been unconsciously holding/moving it with my left hand.. duuuuuuh !!

So what about the guy that said he had overfilled his gun and said that had caused the PW setting to “loosen up”, does that sound right?? I looked, but can’t find the post that I read about it…
did you check to see that the little rubber washer was in the back of your rearmost barrel bushing…i hear thats there to prevent this loosening of which you speak.

Ya know, I’ve always been careful to keep my hand away from the wheel, but I guess it’s the only way it could have gotten moved 😕 😕 Just seems weird, but I will put a little piece of black duct tape on there to hold it…

It can be moved accidental while shooting the gun.
But a piece of tape on it 😀

My power wheel does not turn that easy. You have to want to turn it and then it takes a little bit of effort. Not sure I could accidentally move mine.
Pretty weird though.
