better guns?

i’m learning more about these air force guns as i read the many posts on this forum.
question: are there other 22 cal guns out there that can match the condor for power and accuracy at medium and long range using the heavier pellets that are availible. for now lets assume price is not a consideration.
I have been surfing the net trying to find such a gun but so far haven’t found one.
if there arn’t any that will match it, are there some that might come reasonably close.

I’ve been messing around with a few different pellets in the limited time I had mine and find the heavier 20+ grain pellets easier to to get consistent accuracy from. Make sure your local dealer has some of them in stock.
On the heavy end I’ve tried Eun Jin’s 28.7, JSB Monsters 25.4, and H&N Baracuda 21.1.
All three shoot real well but knowing what I know now would of just ordered a 10 pack of JSB Monsters as I like them best. The Eun Jin’s are a bit harder to push in than the other pellets but not a big deal and an impressive pellet for sure.
Lighter JSB,s Crossman primiers, and RWS did not shoot near as well consistently. Perhaps with a detune but even at lower settings they are up there in speed.
I have the big carbon tank on order from Air Hog. I love to shoot this gun and want to be able to do so as much and easily as possible. The light weight and 4500 psi were what made my decision to spend the money. I’m getting it with the carry handles. Just the non roll around aspect of them make them a no brainer,IMO.
Since I ordered I’ve seen used ones available quite a bit cheaper but still with in two hundred dollars or so when you figure in the adapters and carry handle. Carbons are currently able to be used 15 years though getting the hydro test done just before that 15 year limit gives you an additional 5 years to use it. Heard they might do away with the 15 year life span law.
I’d get an adjustable mount of some kind to get you POI close. The design of these rifles necessitates that the scope be mounted high over the bore causing you to need a lot of the scopes elevation adjustment , in my case all of it.
At any rate I believe a scopes adjustments are more sure when they are not near or at the limit. FWIW.
You are most likely going to want a barrel shroud and trigger tune. Might consider ordering it with these modification done from TT at the top.
Also if a bi pod is something you wish to use the AF studs are garbage and so is their bi pod from what I hear. TT will tap and add a stud to the frame. I went a different way but think that is the way to go.
I’ve been making do with the standard butt plate but an up grade there is on my list as well.
Evinix, Sumatras & Careers can be set up for serious power and are repeaters.
Actually given that the “sweet spot” for pellets is in the 950 FPS range even things like BAM51s as well as a great many other PCPs are fully capable with tuning

i have a chrony. i will get pellets from a local dealer. shroud i will buy when i order gun.
about tanks, will a carbon tank be worth the extra money. what size tank should i buy, if there are different size tanks that is. what about fill valves or anything else for filling tank or tank to gun.
Fill equipment, chrony, and pellets. If you need to be quiet get a shroud. It will sound like a .22lr without one.
I just looked up the daystate air ranger. wow, i was really impressed!!! I was not impressed with the price. about $1500.00. I have paid more than this for a few guns in my life but not for an airgun!!!! makes the condor look very very good to my eyes.
I’m about ready to spring for a condor. sight unseen. i don’t like buying a pig in a poke but don’t really have a choice.
is there anything i should order for it that i would want and just not know it at this point?

Yeap the Air Ranger. Some of the custom QBs but the shot count will be low if you set one up for high power. Most of the Korean guns can be set up pretty high.
When you say match the Condor for power what level are you talking about? A Condor could be set up for 20ft lbs or 120 ft lbs.
you might want to look at a daystate air ranger 80fpe model in .22 or .25 if price really isnt an issue.

Yes. But I think that the Condor platform will be the easiest to set up for power and long range shooting.

the bipod isnt all that great either, for around the same money you can get a harris .
and If ya have the extra jing , get it tuned from big Tony
