The stepped down stem isnt too much of a problem. It would be easy to get about 30 fpe from that stem, no need to drill it out.

if is has that grove in the stem, try not to go excessive on the hammer weight or spring tentsion to try and not break it.

Maybe ordering a new valve from the U.S. might be the way to go.

That valve looks familiar 😉

I had tried to find it for this thread earlier- ty zilog.

The valve stem it self is waisted down on the later anti tamper models

WAIT!!! 😀

If it is a relativley new gun, you can screw out the tophat to 1″ and have a 200 gram hammer and a suspention spring in there and it wont increase velocity hardly.

To get any increase in velocity, you will have to remove the valve. The valve spring retainer has a TINY hole through it (Cant fit a piece of paperclip wire through it) This would have to be drilled out to a larger diameter to get full flow of air into the valve.

Then, after that you can proceed with all of the helpful tuning information that is around this forum

In our quick reference section we have directions on how to tune your valve and your trigger. Also you open up your valve and replace your return spring with a softer spring. You can also shim your mainspring.

That will up your velocity.

Almost forgot but you can send your gun back to Gunpower and get them de restricted in to a full FAC spec gun like the Americans get. I don’t know if they charge for this as I got my gun like it is but it could be worth a call if you have a later anti tamper model.

i have a FAC i wont to keep it down a bit due to live stock near by thanks for you help

You can port the valve stem but this is a little tricky and impossible on the anti tamper guns. The simplest two are increasing the tophat gap and adding preload to the hammer spring. With the help of a Chrono you will soon get what your looking for. 😎

Though I would warn you the MINIMUM if convicted for possessing an illegal firearm (including air weapons) in the UK is 5 years in jail. So if its not on a FAC you have to stay under 12ftlb 🙁

im not looking for mad power levels just want 16-18flbs with basic stuff i can do myself

The UK spec stealth works quite well out of the box. Some people like to do the trigger mod that is on the reference pages on this forum. Silencers are another popular mod. If it’s a late model with the daft hidden away safety many people take that off all together as they just get annoying. Side cocking leaver is another popular mod. Etac bottle adapters are popular too. The list is endless really, Best starting point is to ask what do you dislike like about the gun?
