accuracy and the royal and the whisper fx

First let me say I’m new to the airgunning. I bought the fx whisper and shot it for a while and I was ok with its performance but just ok…It shot pretty good but I had no experience with these guns and didn’t know how good these guns could be….I did know ,I wanted better…so I read up and bought the Royal. I got it home and shot about 3 doz. shots and thought this is more like it…….as I shot more and more It seemed like I got worse….Something was wrong and I knew it was not me….I can shoot a gun……When I first got the Royal, I used the new magazine and it shot good . The next time I shot I used the Whisper mag and didn’t shoot as well,,,,The spring tension in both mags was too much and the sharp edges in the mags coupled with the pellets getting slammed around by the too agressive spring scarred the pellets at times and made my shooting off at times….flyers………I proved this by hand feeding pellets in the Royal and saw instant improvement….I pulled the mag apart and eased the edges of the internal parts and reduced the spring tension…..Big improvement….not a problem on the elusive 50 yd dime.now…..After all this I was starting to like shooting with out the mag…..so I took a piece of plastic and cut it to fit the breech of the Royal and pushed the bolt forward to make a small mark on the piece and drilled a quarter inch hole in it….using this removable block I can feed pellets easily into the gun thru a piece of soft plastic….It works perfect….I wish I knew how to put picts up so you could see…..Any of you having accuracy issues with guns that use magazines try feeding your gun one pellet at a time by hand and see what happens….Now let me give credit where credit is due……There is a guy on the Yellow named Luis Ruiz who put up some great great pictures of his fix to the fx mag….I think anyone with mag problems could refer to these picts…..The Fx people make some bad ass rifles……I like them now…don
