Q:

Sumatra Carbine not filling up

Hey yall,

My Sumatra .25 Carbine is not filling with air. Worked fine in the past, today I hooked everything up, probe is tight, connections good, opened scuba tank up and wont fill!
Pressure will fill to 2000 psi in the hose but wont open up valve in the rifle.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Cheers :18

Well the check valve clicked last night, and I believe the pressure gauge on the rifle is faulty, not moving at all. Hopefully this is the culprit!

If your pressure on the hose only reads 2000psi, that indicates to me that your tank only has 2000 in it.

I thought it could be the check valve but I can hear it moving around, I am stumped on this one.

My Sumatra carbine will routinely not open the check valve until 3300 psi….. I need to take it out and clean it one day.

I’ll shoot it down, then fill it up and pressure will go up to 3300 to near 3500, then it will CLICK… and the valve will open.

Okay, Maybe the one way check valve in the ned of the gun is stuck and not letting it seal. But this would be unusual.

Theres plenty of air in the tank because I filled up my other rifles.

Is the pressure in the scuba tank at 2000psi?

Looks like you need to get it filled
