Q:

Evanix, new lineup….

Anyone got any experience with Evanix?

Their Rainstorm looks like a good buy and they even tell you what fps goes with what gr pellet. That’s a lot of power.

Koreans are coming on hard in quality control, and learned to copy things better than the Japanese.

Just curious if their barrels are accurate.

Don’t have one but from the reviews I have read the rifles out
now have a better shroud/baffle design than the ones from last year.
They are very close to the Marauder at the same fpe levels. Not
quite as good, but real close. Of course as you go up in power you
will get more sound, but even the AR4/AR6, Rainstorm, and
Windy City are supposed to be pretty quiet for all that power.
Not Mouse fart, but probably backyard friendly.

Is it quiet? As quiet as a Marauder?

Can’t speak for the current Evenix barrels but the earlier ones were nearly legendary for their accuracy. Heard from a couple different folks that the same firm that makes barrels for Career also did the AR6 & Sumatra barrels which seems very likely. The info came from Asian Air Gunners in the Philippines & Korea itself.
Been a very quiet interest in fitting Career barrels to Field Target rifles here, they don’t last long when the barrels hit the Yellow and if you think about it can you recall anyone complaining about poor accuracy with these rifles? When you do see complaints it is usually about something mechanical or the often horrible trigger pull on the double action AR6 guns.
They certainly rate far superior to any Crosman manufactured barrel and in my opinion probably as good as HW, BSA or LW if not better in some cases.
You don’t hear a great deal of data on the barrel quality Stateside but much of that is due to the open hostility many Eurocentric types have to ANYTHING Asian in origin…
it did bruise many an ego when a few folks were taking Field Target matches with cheapie Chinese QBs before their barrel quality went to shit.
Anyways they should be more accurate than the average user can shoot them!

Is it “neighborhood friendly”.

I shoot a lot of chickens and waterfowl. Since they aren’t mine, I need to exercise a responsible degree of noise pollution control.

I shoot the Evanix S10 Blizzard in the .22 cal and it shoots great with 21.10g pellets. I do a lot of squirrel hunting and I tag them all day at 50 to 80 yards even a lizard at 68 yards the other day. I love my gun let me know if I can help with any question you might have about this gun.

Yeah I would also like to know how good the barrels are. When you see awesome long range groups it is usually from a LW, HW, or BSA barrel. If there barrels can compete with those three then I’ll be getting an Evanix very soon.
