Q:

Depinged the EDgun Matador

Well I successfully depinged the Matador today… It is the easiest one to do
so far…. There is a screwon protective ring around the gauge on the end of
the air tube that just unscrews…. There are 3 allen head bolts at the end of
the air tube to take out then a slight tug on the gauge and the whole end cap
assembly slides out…. Slip the Vinyl tubing half way down the tube and that’s
it… I think I would have preferred 1-1/2 to 2″ Tubing but I think the 1-1/4″
will be fine… The Matador tube is quite large in diameter compared to my
other tubed guns…

LMAO… A Cracked out Matador….lol

Yes, optional extra. Depinger with few less shots or no de-pinger

And why isn’t it called a MAMCRACKIN DEPINGER??? He did the first one!! Lets have a little recognition here!! 😎 😎

If Edward himself assemble the gun maybe he could be so nice to put in the vinyl tubing himself. He already has the empty open tube, and the vinyl is so cheap, not to mention the unnecessary stress on the tube Oring when we put it ourselves.
Ed, would you be so kind to put the vinyl yourself ? You can’t deny that is a upgrade and even more , it will show how close you are to your clients .

And yes, the only way I can figure to get the pressure out of the tube is
to shoot it… Takes about 150 shots I think….
You might want to try a piece of tubing a little larger than 1-1/4″. The
Matador tube has a pretty big diameter

Thanks Mam, I guess I will have to get some cheap pellets from Wally World. I’m running low on 22 JSB heavys. Need to order some and 25″s also. 😀

I dry fired it all the way to empty…

I was thinking about the Condor also. I wonder if you
could buy the proper size vinal tubing, cut off a 1/2″ wide circle, cut the
circle and start feeding the strip into the tank. On the other end, I would
drill a small hole and bend the end of a coat hanger 90 degrees. I would
try sticking the end of the coat hanger, in the hole and use it to push the
last of the tubing in.

If you were lucky, you could then push the tubing strip half way down the
tank and position it, using the coat hanger. It might take some rebending
of the coat hanger, and a lot of cussing but, I think it would work.

Hey Mam, sent Tony a down payment on a 25 cal Matador today. I’m
back to playing the waiting game again! Don’t you just hate it? 😥

I want to try the deping on my Matador. How do you get the pressure out
of the tube? Do you have to keep shooting it or is there another way?

I just think it would take more than 1/2″ wide piece of tubing to quiet the
ring in the tank…. A really thick walled piece of hose that would fit really
tight on the outside of the tank would do… Maybe something that you
could heat up in hot water then stretch over the tank….

Yea, I sent the down payment too… Eduard says he will send at the end
of May beginning of June…

hay mam ,you think a condor could be done ,

I have thought about it alot powderburner but I just can see how… The only
thing I think would help would be to put a heavy coating of Real Truck bed
liner on the outside of the bottle…

hay mam ,you think a condor could be done ,

Just got a chance to test it and it definitely makes a difference… It use to
have a high pitched tink (not the same ring as the other tube guns) and that
is gone…

Thanks for the info Mam. Will give it a try.

How did you vent the air tube?
