Yep! It’s true!!! IN A SPRINGER!!!

Same people that say a .20 is superior to a .22. Yep. Again in a springer, for long range.

Not in our Guns. Hell, if a .22 was better than a .25, and a .20 better than a .22, then a .177 should rule. I guess a BIG bore is just about useless! 😆

Every body knows a .177 is better than a Jerry .25 slug of Wild Bore. Especially if you own a super duper Gamo! 😆 😆 😆

80, I have shot .22 and .25 side by side at the same velocity and the .25 drops at least 5 inches less at 100 yards. And is effected by the wind a hell of a lot less. Not to mention it has more energy at 50 yards than a .22 at ht muzzle at the same velocity. 😉

These old wives tails persist mainly with older, (Respected) shooters who have never shot a true high performance air gun.

Thats a nice way to say ignorant of what is out there today.

thanx OG,its shooting about 875 fps for 65 or so shots. no im not giving it away ill keep it before ill do that. i want a steyr LG110FT but if it doesnt work out ill put a daveG stock on my MK3.

thanx again,Ken

What pellet?

Sure wish my AirWolf was a .25! It’s killer accurate, and a real looker. But in .22.

Mike

Mike, I was talking with a guy who is pretty well known in airgun community and man, he went off on a rant about how “everyone loves these .25’s and he does not know why??? He said that the .22 is a better caliber due to it retaining energy better at distance than the .25 😯 Is this true? I honestly always wondered what the benefit is beyond more energy for hunting? Anyone have 2 cents?

Those numbers are just fine! Love the way the JSB’s shoot in .25! 😉

knifemaker, actually its 885 fps with 25.4g jsbs for 44fpe. im not too big on the numbers, im more impressed with the trigger and the accuracy.

if i wanted the big numbers id have stayed with the condor.

they let me shoot the field targets at the fun shoot, but they would never let me for a match.

I have a Rhino Crow FT and a SuperPopper, they saw what happened to mine at the funshoot and said there was no way I could use that kind of power for competition… 😆

If you want a FT that is a work of art try After Hours/ Rhino Targets…

I don’t know if Dick Otten is still running the business (retired aerospace engineer) but it’s a great target for the price! I hate to shoot mine but don’t see putting it on the mantle either… 😆

they let me shoot the field targets at the fun shoot, but they would never let me for a match. 20 fpe limit and at 2ofpe it would shoot to loopy of a trajectory

the mac-1s are one holers also but they look like theres something missing (ie bare)

got my MK3 dialed and ready to go i just need to make sure the nerves dont get to me. (fingers crossed)

KEN

Yeah, I don’t think they would let you use that with the FT targets… 😯 My TalonSS with the 24″ barrel shooting 11grains of 177 at 1040fps fucks those things up at 30 yards…

The 25 would destroy them!!!

I really want the Mac-1 FT rifle… 😯 The Steyr is gorgeous as well!! 😉

thanx pacrat, synopsys. i love the gun and would really like to keep it but the field target thing has bitten me in the ass. if it was .177 id prolly put a FT stock on it but as it is my mouth is watering for a steyr and you know how that goes. .25 is really way more rifle than i ever needed but bigger is always better or so i thought. i mostly shoot it at 30 or so yds with an occasional trip to a fun shoot or the range at my buddies gun club so it will have to go.its only a matter of time before someone picks it up and falls in love with it.

thanx for the compliments, Ken

The wood on that stock is really clean.

Shit, buy more airgun when I don’t even get to shoot the ones I have… Sign me up! I just wish my wallet could handle my impulses. No purchases for me until I get my black powder project done! Good news, finally got the shop up and ready for work, bad news, may have to move again soon.

She sure is purdy, i’m sure someone will pay what you are asking!

THAT has GOT to be one of the most beautiful rifles I’ve ever seen, no joke!!!!!! Somehow, someday, I WILL have one of those, even if I have to selll off part of my current guns to get it..MAN !!!!

I know what you mean.I have taken plenty of beatings.I figured one day I will get smart and just sell everything and dont look back. But untill that day I’ll just keep blowing money 😆

its on the yellow. i have a guy interested in it that i let shoot it at the last fun shoot i attended. also most everyone expects it to be given away. ill keep it before i take to big a beating on it.

Ken

There has been a guy posting on the yellow to buy a wolf or ranger. If you are looking to sell, you might want to look him up.Or maybe just post it,they seem to be some fast sellers.
