i ended up using the one from the edge as it adjusts height-wise.

Which front sight did you use, the Air Force Edge?

yep..sure have…

while the quality of the standard AF sights is good…i found them to be inadequate insofar as getting down on the ‘stock’ far enough with a cheek weld to use them effectively. the front sight is NOT elevation adjustable so it will not work with the tri-rail installed on the carry handle.

i did purchase a Mendoza adjustable rear and a height adjustable front aperture that do work great!

you’ll not be able to have the ‘pin-point’ accuracy as you would with a scope..and…lighting conditions will limit when/where you shoot (in hunting applications)…never the less, they can be quite accurate.
