Here’s a dumb question, but being a relative newb…

…who has never owned a “bulk fill” co2 gun…I’m going to ask it.

How will I know when the tube is filled up?????????????????? Also, whats the best tank to get to use for filling. They have some at wally world, but I was wondering what the best size will be to limit trips to the paintball park…. Thanks.

I also learned from co2 dynamics before I filled up one of my pcp with co2. I dont have a siphon tube, so everytime I filled my gun I put a bag of ice on my airtube, 5 to 15minutes and it’s filled up to 100% rate.

its important to know the volume of your airtube, then calculate it to know how much co2 can be filled to (to avoid overfill).

then, I tuned gun by change the hammer spring to get the best shot I can get with co2. in this case I was able to get 700 fps ish with 0.5gram per shot consumption (.177).

after that, just like BB said, hours of fun! 😀 😀 😀

Note that you cannot overfill with CO2. If you have a larger vessel with CO2 and are filling a smaller vessel, it will not overfill… but the idea is to fill with the LIQUID CO2, hence why WOK stated to weigh the gun. Some folks even put the gun, tube, whatever… in the freezer prior to filling.

The best method is to weight the gun and then add the CO2 while weighing the gun.
