COMBO SHOOTING 2 Different Pellets 1 Fill

Shooting 25 32.4 grain Eun Jins followed by 15 21.14 grain Baracuda Match pellets.

I’m still experimenting with my Condor .22 with my Lighter Hammer and slightly increased spring compression.

I was attempting to shoot 25 EJs at Power Wheel 6 followed by 15 Cudas at PW= 2+1(11) BUT…. I was late and the Jr. 4 position group was due on the range soon.

I had good FPS results with the EJs shooting at 50 yards but wanting to finish shooting the Cudas I forgot to turn down the PW. After a couple shots I discovered the FPS running in the low 900’s instead of the low 800’s that I expected. BUT the FPS looked consistent so I decided to finish out the string at PW=6.

Here are the numbers beginning with the 25 shots 32.4 grain EJs:

ENDING WITH ABOUT 1490 PSI

Groups? Ah, at 50 yards I still need practice but the 32.4 grain EJs were all within 2″ groups and I was really rushing to get the chrono readings of the Cudas and splattered my turkey target with a 15 shot group spread of about 2 1/2″.

I’m thinking this 40 shot COMBO STRING is good enough to go hunting with. But, I really don’t know.

Should I work on my shooting skills with this COMBO or keep on experimenting?
