How many low power shots …
…would you expect to get with a TSS just for plinking? I have been filling my .22 to 2600psi, shooting at the local tree rats and refilling after about 30 shots with the PW on about 3, but I have never ran the PW down to zero to find out just how many shots I could get for plinking.

PC.. its hard to say how many shots to expect since the last valve mod that i did actually got to highest fps with a low (1-2) power wheel setting…best advice i can give is to just shoot it till you see the POI change beyond what you consider acceptible…

12″ TSS 177, shooting 7.0gn RWS R-10 Match wadcutters, starting pressure 1300-1400psi ending pressure 600-700psi, I get about 80 shots and another 10-20 iffy shots. All shots at paper / silhouettes at 15-20 yards. PW 2~4
At about 1000psi the gun becomes as quiet as a CO2 and continues until performance drops off. I run two tanks, one at 2600psi for long range and pest removal and the other at 1300psi for plinking/target.
