Question about AA4XX regulator..
Hi guys!
I am really tempted to get the regulator from Vincent Van Gerven off of yellow forum…, but as I read some posts here on TAG that some of you guys installed it, you have to cut the brass long peice inside the air tube to fit the reg. Well, if I do that and I don’t like the way the reg. works if I switch back to normal use, will that lack of length of that brass peice decrease the rifle performance?
I mean, it is expensive rifle and I feel I need some help from you guys who installed it and how happy you are with it.
I e-mailed Vincent, asking him if velocity will go down after I install the reg, and he told me that if I can modify the valve I can keep the velocity the same. Well, what mods to the valve can I make to keep the velocity the same?
But still, I am excited to get it to get the shots more consistent, I just don’t want to screw up this as it is awesome rifle.
Thank you

Yes, I read the post about YN mod to make for the larger air volume and he milled some stuff out, but for me, I got no milling machine to do that.
All I have is drill press and some tools I can do some work with precition only my hands allow me to do.
Well, it is too bad if velocity drops so dramatically after I install it and I can do nothing about it.
I have AA S410 Classic FAC in .22cal and it gives me 28fpe with 18gr JSB and I wouldn’t want to go down in power.
Thank you for the reply.
