Q:

Scott Air-Pak 45 min 4500psi tank question

I bought the Air-Pak 45 min 4500psi tank to refill my air pcp pistol , and I have a scuba hose with K -valve adapter. How can I attach to the tank, do I need an other adapter to fit in, or need a new one with hose.
Also I read somewhere this fiber tanks just good for 15 years , well this one made in 96′ . Is it true?

how much is it?
So if I will buy it I don’t need my scuba adapter hose? I just paid $80 for it 🙁

You don’t need a scuba adapter because you don’t have scuba tank. You have an SCBA tank. You need a CGA-347 fitting, bleeder and hose. Like Wok said… Mac1 or Joe can fix you up.

Here are the 2 web sites listed above, you can look at the pictures at Joe’s site, you can do a couple different set-ups with what you have or you may not need the adapter you just bought.

What you need is a SCBA Fitting and 15 year service life is correct for a carbon fiber tank.

You need this set up. You can buy it from Mac1 airguns or Joe Brancato
