I picked up a couple of Oxygen regulators and I was…
…wondering if I can use the psi gauges on them for HPA. They go up to 3,000 psi and they are UL brand and say Oxygen use no oil.
Anyway, if anyone needs the bodies and or internals for anything…you are welcome to them after I take the gauges off.

It should be stamped on it. I’ve seen them from 2000 to 3000psi when I was an EMT.

The internals are probably not usable for our needs. They regulate 3000 down to 14psig, or 1atm for breathing. They won’t have the springset to handle 2-3k output.
Not to hijack your thread, but….
I went browsing for 4500 to 3000 psi regs…Swagelok has them. Don’t know the cost, but they weight between 2-4 lbs (yep. POUNDS) each.

Yes, they are for breathing tanks, found them at a goodwill thrift store, brand new/mint cond. for 2.00 a piece. I looked em up on line and they are around 35 to 70.00 depending on the brand…I wonder if anyone can use some of the internals for AG related regs and such???
If they are breathing oxy regs, they should be very accurate. 😎
It says use no oil as oil and high pressure oxy is a really bad idea.
Thanks Pab, they are very nice looking gauges with a nice rubber outer ring. I will put them to use on a custom 22xx build.
