Q:

Too busy to shoot during daylight hours…

Between work and the kids I usually get a chance to shoot outdoor as night is rolling in, during the winter I don’t even get home until 2 hours after dark. I’ve seen this discussed so i won’t claim it’s a new idea but this is what I did today…

Couple of cheap solar spotlights found there way to the cart while I was at the home depot today.

First shot is from 20ish yards from my porch (12 feet up), second was taken from my shooting bench in the basement at 30y. Scoped it and took a few shots. It was a little dark with the 9x scopes, the view through the 18 and 24 and 40x scopes were as good as the scopes, targets were very visible. Camara doesn’t have the zoom it would take to see what I see through the scope.

Much less invasive to the neighbors than my flood lights, and I can actually control where these point.

I added a 2″ x 6″ steel plate to the top of my shooting box and placed the magnetic BBQ light on it to illuminate the target. Easy to move back to the BBQ.
