Thinking of making my own buddy bottle?
Hi guys,
For a wile I’ve been thinking of making my own buddy bottle to replace the big bottle with a long slim tube. I have seen some like that on hear with colapsable stocks on. Alturnativly I was thinking of making an even longer bottle to gun under the rifle body with the valve on some kind of stem that screws into the same port as useaul and conects to the bottle.
My question is how would I go about making a bottle Ie would I drill out a stainless steel pipe, thread the bottem put in a threaded plug, screw in and weld in place?
and with regards to the the bottle being under the body, is useing a stem posible? like the ones on paintball guns?
I have no idea about the requirments of hi presure tanks so any advice will be apreciated

I been makin a few tubes up in 38mm HP hydraulic tube for a theoben conversion.
They’d give a bit more volume than the 1″ 1/4 tubes.
If you want a chunk Dave i’ll send some up.
Just holding the garage door open at the minute.

Sorry I don’t, I have been using my regualted tank on my gun for a while so haven’t been able to do any testing.
However, if I get to sell this one to someone who will test it, then I’m sure the knowlege will be shared here.
This tank would excell with either a Micro-Flow tank or a Talon valve, Condor would probably use too much air.
This is only a wild stab the dark, but I 20 shots at 20-30 FPE would be about right I think.

Working in the feeble pound sterling, tube is about £40 and endcap and adapter will be around £20 in brass.
£60 plus postage which is around £25 for 5 days delivery. So what’s £85 in $?

Anyway, Yes it does work well on the gun. I have a spare AA S410 carbine here and could whip up some end caps/valve adapter for you if you are interested.

Call Bori at Topgunairgun and order a AAS400 Classic tube.
This will lessen the chances of you killing yourself since you have admitted not knowing HPA requirements.
I’m sure Walt will have fun with this thread….haha
Actually, Dave242 (or is it 424?) has already done this and I’d contact him if you are serious…. further lessening the chances of you killing yourself.
