Q:

Big Bore Super AirArcher pic!

covered my beta testing of the rig over on the mod board
its based around a Talon SS frame with a Blodknob Big Bore valve and a custom version of the Airarcher conversion to accomedate the much hotter and larger valve
suffice it to say this thing smokes
was breaking 600FPS with ease on 3000psi fills over the holiday
still needs more tinkering but its one bad hombre’

Heavy ass arrows to boot!

like I said…pretty satisfied
only thing I don’t like is the stock AirForce frame but have all sorts of thoughts on improving that part of it too
A dedicated custom frame for this rig could go side cocker with no openings in the frame tube other than a cocking slot with a safety notch and a full length 1913 rail on top as I really would like to have the option of flip up iron sights and QD mounts.

I imagine you are satisfied!

RC

Sight is a Russian Kobra holographic with an integral 11mm mount
really prefer these to the Eotech, they are lower with the integral mount and offer a better set of laser reticles than the Eotech for this aplication
Never cared much for normal redots…
With the drooped ETAC it give a good fit for my arm length and a perfect cheek weld everytime with the Kobra…fast as hell to snap shoot with.
by changing out springs and spacers I am so far able to run between the mid 300 to the mid 600 FPS range and have loads of shots with little report using the 68ci tank when set for lower power.
still more to do, probably upgrade to a side cocker metal breech eventually and need to add a front stud and sling but pretty satisfied so far 😉

Yeah, what he said. 😯

I was scanning through it and only saw modded and shooting 600fps with ease. I was thinking that was fine, nothing special. Then I realized they were arrows. 😯 😯

Oh, and what on earth is that sight? looks like a red dot, but why is it the size of a small car?

Holy Smokes 😯
