Q:

The kids’ 22xx carbines

I’ve mentioned these a few time and thought it was about time I bragged a little. They turned out really nice.

Shortened the stocks about 3.75 inches, had to reshape the butt to fit back on, drilled/pinned/epoxied them back together before a final sanding/shaping then applied several coats of paint. “Stock” stock shown for size comparison.

With the power turned way down they get a ton of shots at 10-15 yards indoor and on the rare occasion I can get them (the kids that is) over to my dad’s (8 acres) I turn the power up and they LOVE to shoot the resettable targets with me. Army men and bottle caps are a close second depending upon distance.

If we get a few sub 92 degree days we are going to try to “paint” some sheetrock squares by shooting paintballs 😀 . The finished products will get hung in there rooms.
