Baraska contour 3×32 crossbow scoope, don’t buy this POS!
I had originally purchased a very cheap red dot 3 dot scope for my Airarcher.
I also used a Baraska 3×12 at times and used the mildots for holdover out to 60 yards. I used to be a Leupold man, I told people if they wanted a cheap scope to get a vari x 2, so the Baraska and I just barely live together, but it does what I need for a airrifle.
The red dot came apart recently so I ordered a Baraska 3×32 with a crosbow reticle.
I got it yesterday, what a fucking joke guys!
Midway did not list the field of view in the catalog, but a 3 power should have a great field of view correct? This thing was like looking thru your barrel, my 3×12 had twice the field of view that this thing did.
If that was not bad enough, there was the brail reticle to consider. It looked like it was drawn on the lense by a very dull sharpie, the lines covered about 2 inches at 25 yards. It made the view thru the scope dark because it covered so much of the sight picture.
The distance from the center POI to the next step down would put me on about 50 yards with a 25 yard poi. The next aiming points would be used for distances I do not want to consider with an arrow.
So it is on its way to Midway, to exchange for a 2×7 version of my 3×12. At least it can be used as a spare on the pellet firing versions if needed.
