EDgun Matador shooting 150 meters.
Here is another video of EDgun Matador shooting .22 caliber. The speed of 18 grain pellet (I haven’t selected pellets by their weights, just “from the can”) is 885 f/sec. The distance is 150 meters (164 yards). We used as a target cans with disgusting chemical alcohol beverage, they poison our youth with 🙁 The size of the can is 65.75 mm (2.58 inches). The weather conditions is not perfect, the wind from the right to the left from 6 f/sec up to 16 f/sec. The disadvantage is the new gun rest, I used for the first time and just didn’t get used to it. In fact the shooting is much more comfortable with them and I do hope there will be better results in the future with them. The .22 caliber for can shooting is much more effective in comparison to .177. Remember the Lelya shooting with 7.5 grain pellets at the speed 885 f/sec at the distance 75 meters (twice as closer as this shooting) no one pellet was able to penetrate the liquid inside the can through to hit the opposite side of the can. In .22 as you see there is no problem to hit both sides of the can through the liquid.
The next range for us is 200 meters (219 yards). We are trying to find that range in our area but there is nothing we can use 🙁 But we will go on trying and I do hope will be in a success 🙂

If I understand what Ed is saying….he’s now perfected the Edgun to where he can shoot into a cell phone, and hit a beer can out of the receiving cell phone, over two hundred meters away!!!
Do you realize what this means? You can now attend a shooting match from the comfort of your home, and phone in your shots!!!

With such a figures the ballistic calculator gives us 1.22 sec of pellet flying to 208 meters. On video you hear not the sound of shooting itself, you hear the sound of shooting from the phone (we had to cell phones switched on constantly with loud speakers on). I live in a small town and we have just ONE base station of the cell phone operator, which is located about 4 miles away of place of shooting. You have to understand that even radio waves have the speed limit , plus to that, delay of signal which has to be precessed by the equipment at the base station, and then sending back to other phone. When you are on the phone you just cannot hear that, since we are not able to get the 0.5-1 sec. delay of the signal during the phone conversation, human reaction in the conversation delays the same way. That is the only explanation and I have no reason to consider it as false. You can ask the cell phone proffessonals to explain about the delay signal possibilities.
I have more faith in an Edgun which can shoot the 5.5mm Monsters more accurately…
That 22 edgun is out standing.
The 25 calibe will do more damage and shoot in the high 800’ds with the 43 grain pellet, but at that distance he is shooting the EDGUN, I don’t think you’ll get that accuracy out of the 25.
I normally use the Diablo pellets and they shhot goo in the Murader at 65 yards, like a 3 leaf clover, but the condor wont do that. I think for accuracy that EDGUN is as good as they get.
But Where is the camera setting, at that distance and speed you should hear the pellet and then hear the gun. But he must have the distance figured out real good to hear the shot and see it hit the can at the same time at that distance.
Anyway good Job.
The .25 also has a big advantage when hunting. A lot more instant drops than with the .22

.25 wins over .22 in the same pellet. I’ve shot both .22 and .25 kodiaks at pretty much the same speed, the .25 were a little slower. The .25 performed alot better. I’ve shot both .22 and .25 in the JSB. The .25 performs better. .25 carries alot more energy down range. Of course!
