Regulator Thread
Hi,
I’ve a doubt that some of you may help me with, I’ve been designing a test model to do some research on solenoid valves to build a gun similar to Daystate, on the the current test model I’m using a standard PB regulator, but I’m stuck in a part, I need to machine an adaptor to hold my reg/solenoid and I need confirmation on the reg gun end thread, it’s 0.825 x 14 right?
Thanks a lot for the help, I’m hoping to have it all done by next week so my “partner” can start designing the electronics, he’s studying electronics engineering, I’m studying mechanical engineering.
Next week I’ll post some pics of my university workshop and the work done so far.
Btw, for those of you building your own guns, use AA tubes, they’re cheap (£28) and easy to buy.
I’ve to add, that apart the tube, reg, barrel, bolts and o-rings, everything is computer designed (SolidWorks), and my final version will have a inner tube reg.
My best regards,
Filipe Carvalho
