Thanks guys. I have been reading as much as I can on the shrouds. But like anything there are many opinions. I will certainly consider Talon Tunes but it will have to wait for a while. For now I am happy that I got the gun for the 499. I was a bit nervous but it was actually shipped from Airgun Depot. They have a large web site and seem to be similar to Pyramidair.
I have also been looking at the for sale, maybe someone will sell a used shroud at some point.
Not to change the thread but I like both, my marauder is extremly quiet and I have it set to shoot Kodiaks at 850. No complaints on the accuracy.
Just shot my Condor for the first time and it is just as accurate, even with the not so good scope I have on it. Sighted it in with Kodiaks at about 17 yards (all the room I have) to shoot about .5 inch low. Should give me a pretty flat trajectory from 20 to 35. Will have to take it somewhere with more room to play.
do a quick search here or click the HUGE banner atop the screen and get a TT shroud
Not going to make it silent like one of the shrouds you get from the tuners, but it will take the edge off. And it will cost roughly $150 less.
You get what you pay for. That one will make it quieter. But spend the big bucks on a shroud from Tony or the like, and it will make it nearly silent. But the cheap one will work, I used one like it for a while.
Oh, and thanks for telling us the place is legit. Everyone go buy one before they shut down. 😉 😆
New Guy here. Have a Marauder and have been watching this forum. Saw the add for the 499 and bought one. It arrived a few days ago. Just put my scope on. First impression, that thing is LOUD!!! What is the expert recommendation on quieting it down? Don’t want to spend tons of money since I just bought the gun for 499 and the scope for 99.
Some old timers here may remember another person who was selling AF guns some time back for really cheap prices… he had a special (then) TOG price list.
He ended up having to close down. I think he was a reseller for PA though and was selling below their limit, I dont know about below AF limit.
I would be interested to hear from someone who actually bought and recieved an air gun from here. 😉
That is interesting as I was told by PyramidAir that Airforce will NOT allow anyone to sell below a certain price and whilst they didn’t tell me what that price is I doubt that it is anywhere as low as $499.

Sounds similar to that website “woot.” My mom gets stuff off of there pretty often, it is just like that. One thing per day, but it’s cheap. I don’t know how they do it, but they do. 😕

Sure enough, I got my TalonSS setup from him, I think it was less than PA by about 50-60 bucks or so… It was a while ago, maybe five years ago… 😯
