Q:

here are some groups !

shot at 66 yds sandbagged , no wind , kodiaks unsorted ,lubed
measured 66 yds the old fashioned way with a measuring tape.
temp-34 degree Celsius.

the top shots were sighters and i pulled two before i added a few sandbags to get the correct spot weld. poor ergonomics but great shooting.
the center group is what i got finally over 5 shots,
forgive the photo quality since i used my HTC for the pics.

You are a good sport Ace, demonstrating grace and class.

The point of posting, especially groups, is to get feedback. The point of this forum is to get encouragement, inspiration to do what you thought wasn’t possible. Mamcrackin, Pab, and a few others got this 100 yard thing going. Just too cool.

hey guys it’s cool . ya the group was good esp for me , used to area wpns and powderburner’s. every post is not worth a chime.
just enjoy being on this forum as its is the best out there, everything goes.
shall need expert help from you all when i get the guts for my baby.

Hey Ace’ 😀 😀

Sorry for not posting a response dude, always interested to see others groups 😎
Very nice for 66 yrds. Plus of course, shooting in .177 really does show the slightest gap on the paper. With my .25 I can get away with bigger groups, ‘cos it makes such a bigger hole!! So I can get one big ragged hole where a .177 shows gaps…..
So especially nice groups mate.. 😎 😎 😎

ur right steve and i shall edit my post to that effect. this is the only group i shot after i got my gun, the .22 barrel is from mac 1 (hw not lw). guess i still have some stupid country bias in mind. thats just my thought process which u have put in line. actually that came about after i interacted with some other guys on another forum.
any way shall post more as it comes. esp looking fwd to the condor valve.

India? What’s that got to do with it? You are a fellow airgunner and TAG member. We have people from all over the world and I for one am very happy to see and hear from them. I think that your post just got, well maybe overlooked. I think your shooting is pretty good. Keep shooting and keep posting.

Which .22 are you shooting? Which pellets are you using?

I guess that I am more of a hunter and I am just not that interested in shooting groups all day. There’s nothing wrong with shooting groups. I just get a gun sighted in for a specific distance and type of varmint and stop when I’m satisfied with my ability to put projectiles where I want them consistently.

thanks steve ! i was wondering the same but that was before i saw the kind of groups being posted by others. this was shot with a .177 cal 18 inch barrel
i have moved to .22 cal since.
ya chimes were missing on this post but hey , that means the onus is on me to post better posts. the crow bashing posts do generate some interest so probably the post was not interesting enough.
as such u , pablouk and mamcrackin do keep my morale up thanks guys !
btw check out my new shot string using .22 jsb exacts

Acedoc, what happened? 193 views and not one comment? Not even, you suck…go get a slingshot? That’s jsut wrong. 😉

I take it you are shooting .22 caliber? From a TSS?

That center group looks good to me! I am always amazed that a 12″ barrel can do so well. What did it measure center-to-center of the furtherest holes? Right on! Good shooting 😀
