Q:

"Edcam" – Take 2

My old Edcam worked pretty well. I was happy with it, and would have been content were it not for one feature – I could not remove it quickly if I wanted to take a shot using my eye.

So, I have upgraded: πŸ˜€

It works perfectly. It swings to the side if I want to take a normal shot. And, I can even crank the scope to 16X, and it’s still clear. The sign is about 60 yards away – the scope is at max power (16X).

I have it mounted upside down for two reasons. The camera lens is located too high to mount it right-side up. And the mount is more secure, and doesn’t torque on the scope as much. It’s easy enough to flip the image in post processing.

The weather is great next week. I’m sure to have some fun with this…. Perhaps some 100 yard shooting through the cam.

Nice rig… looks like a medical equipment.
(But 209.900 for that house… inΒ΄t too much?)

Regards.

Mac

Cool! Look’s like a winner.

Hey, nice find!

There looks to be a couple subtle variations, but all-in-all it looks functionally identical. Good detective work.

BTW,

For who of you want to get the same adapter above with few buck cheaper, checkout this link below.

Last time I check, 4 available for BUY NOW.

Note to self: “next time don’t use the neighbor’s for-sale sign to illustrate your point…….NEXT TIME, use a hemophiliac baby, balanced on a high-wire, holding a Faberge egg.”

Andrew Jackson would line you all up for an ass-kicking. πŸ˜†

In your front yard? Pointing it at a neighbor’s house?

I can’t believe your not in jail… You don’t live in California do you? πŸ˜† πŸ˜†

That’s a beautiful setup!!! You need to get a remote and put it near the trigger so it takes a photo when you pull the trigger or starts video just before the shot. πŸ˜‰

Hey Ted, THAT is a nice camera mount setup! I really like the way you use a roll of electrical tape for elevation changes. Do you carry different diameter rolls with you or just add/remove tape as needed? πŸ˜†

No way amigo… Go ahead and do everything within the law that is permissible, I don’t care. Shit the law regarding no hunting in the city is for those that miss…. πŸ˜†

BUT many people think otherwise and it’s not just in California.

PLUS it was a JOKE! πŸ˜† πŸ™„

Your uptight like people from Berkeley… πŸ˜†

Ted, did you get the picture to rotate within the camera’s programming? Never seen that… Or is it a product of the scope?

Very nice. You’ve taken camera mounts to a whole new level.

SWEEEEETTTT!!!!

πŸ˜† No one is going to jail. I’m good with all of my neighbors. And even if I wasn’t, air rifles are completely legal in the city (on your own property). A 16-year-old had a springer in the park last week, shooting pine cones, and all the cops did was tell him to go home. The guy across the street sits in a lawn chair with his 1377 and drills chipmunks. …I guess my neighborhood is just more laid back than yours.

Mark, this one I did not build myself. I did a ton of research – looking for something that would work the way I want. I found this thing on a European bird watching forum (of all places). But, there are no American vendors that sell it. Luckily, I found a European vendor on eBay. And for reasons I don’t understand, it got to me in less than a week for only $10 shipping charge.

You can buy it now for $65, or save yourself $10 with a little patience (what I did).

Whoa Ted, you da man! :thumb:

Did you fab that from scratch? Need more info, interested in building something like that.

Most of all, I like the swing away feature on your rig.

Aloha,

Mark

Looks good. Now lets see some holes in that for sale sign… πŸ™„

Nice!
Where did you get the one?
