Customs is importer’s headache always so why do you bother? Just ship it to him if he is insisting even after knowing the rules.

Do I have to dump the bottle if I ship it? whose responsibility is customs there? I assume the buyer knows what he has to do to getthrough customs if he lives there?
FedEx & USPS ships me most of the .177 stuff to me.
Only. .177 air rifels are allowed to be imported in India & that too if importer has valid shooting club membership. No commercial quantity is allowed. Parts like barrel, grip etc. are easily identifiable & custom may seize it. Anything related to guns or airguns is no-no for Indian customs.
I am authorized distributor of Hill Pumps in India & also legally manufacture PCPs on small scale. They even don’t allow us trade sample in any caliber other than .177.

legal as long as recipient can prove club membership of rifle club or some one carries it in luggage.
do not label machine parts , customs in India is a bitch not stupid, well not mostly.
u could send the other parts i.e. valves etc labeled as pneumatic valves just omit the “for airgun part”
I asked if it was legal and kept the response in case there is a problem.
Accidentally sending an illegal item to a country might not be looked upon as
a mistake.
In my mailing of E-TaCs I’ve found USPS to be the cheapest by far for international shipping.
Please be aware of the export laws.

It might never arrive. The laws are very strict in India about airguns.

hey crowpopper ! i also own a talon so getting the clearance from customs is the recipients hassle. slayer convey this point across and ship it with the onus on that guy.
