I need a one piece stem for my condor valve!!
As I knew they can be a bit crap, I left my th at factory settings of .1″(which also seems best for this reg) but it has STILL come loose!! 👿
I will not put up with this. A 2 buck piece of metal is fucking up my 1200 dollar rifle…..
I have a particularly energetic 2 year old daughter I can trade. 😛

Paul, if that doesn’t come through email me, be glad to make a couple for you at different th heights. You’d have to provide sketches and dimensions. Only problem is I don’t have leaded steels in that size, would have to order some. I only have high tensil stuff, difficult to machine in that small size.

Yes DW that is a solution to the problem and works for many.
Luckily a nice chap called dave424 is making me a shiny 1 piece. No loctite, no hairdryer, no me slinging the rifle across the field in frustration…. 😆
i think i asked this once before about the TH loosening, but couldn’t a person put a dab of loctite blue or fingernail polish on the threads of the valve stem itself?
it would have to be ‘sparingly’ applied so it could be removed if need be, but enough to prevent the loosening of the TH.
as i see it, by putting the locktite blu into place, that can cause enough resistance to strip the head out of the ^%$# Allen head grub screw…don’t need that either…
i have the same problem with my Talon TH. those flippin’ little grub screws are, indeed, a problem… 😡
i made a mark on the TH itself and check it frequently to make sure it hasn’t loosened.
in either case, using a judicious amount of heat, from a hair dryer or heat gun may suffice to unlock the locktite blu or nail polish i would guess.
Forgive my ignorance, but who in the past made the one piece valve stems?

Thought the same thing as well Sam, but its just a crazy fragile part of the valve I would rather be rid of. One piece at a set height for my reg will be ideal.

Try some Blue Loctite thread locker. After Airforce replaced my High Flow valve the TopHat started to rotate and after three times trying to tighten the tiny grub screws I Blue Locktited and no more rotating TopHat.
Be very Careful with those th grub screws, they will strip very easily!
