What do you guys think?
I have had my Condor now for about a month, been out shooting ground squirrels out here in Montana and using it as a practice gun for competition. I do 1000 yard F-class shooting and it is very expensive to practice shooting. with this gun i can do that and i am very pleased with it. Extremely accurate, cheap to shoot, and looks really good. Since i got it i have made a few mods to it, mainly just cosmetics.
1. added a Hogue pistol grip cover
2. flash hider (not really needed but it looks good)
3. added an m4 style front rail system
4. 3-point tactical sling
5. 4-16 x 40 scope

The shroud is from Talon Tunes
Nice looking rig. To do the over travel trigger mod the newer trigger plate has the hole already tapped. You just need the grub screw. And WOK Butt is a must!

You can use velcro straps and glue on piece of leather or even another piece of foam for backing.
thats good to know, so foam from pipe insulation… i never would have thought of that. do you put any type of backing on it? what did you use for straps?
Kodiaks are 21 gr.
In all honesty it is best you make your own pellet holder. A lot of guys use foam for pipe insulation.
You can buy that pellet holder but it kinda sucks because the pellets fall out in the field.
what weight / grains are those, by the way where did you get that pellet holder?
Ya i wont touch the top-hat till i get it back, i have read enough on here to know that, but i appreciate the reminder. i also have heard that stock the condor wastes some air from the tank and once i get me crony i will go through and test the velocities to make sure.
Don’t touch the tophat until you get a chronograph.
For your Condor I would recommend Kodiaks
thanks, i dont know yet if i want to do that, but i do like the trigger mod. it looks like it could do me some good. i was also thinking about adjusting the top-hat. im waiting on getting my crony back so i dont want to start messing with it till i get it. also do you have any recommendation on pellets. right now im using crossman premier hollow points mainly because thats whats available locally, but if you know of one or to that are accurate and good for varmint hunting i will try them.

thanks for the advise. how much are the “Wokbutt”? Do they adjust up and down, length of pull?
If your gun is shooting well I would personally leave it alone.
Now for a bit of self promotion 😀 I make an adjustable shoulder piece call the “Wokbutt” and many find it to greatly improve the shoulder of the gun and improve their accuracy.
It is a simple upgrade but an important one.

I did not make any modifications to my Talon SS for a few years except cosmetics and when I did modify it, it was to increase FPS by doing the valve modification.
An easy modification you can do is the “Trigger Modification” that is listed in the quick reference section. That will really improve your trigger on the Condor
will do, i should be going out there tomorrow to shoot some more, are there any mods you would recommended for the condor, all i have done is cosmetic and i was wondering what others have done with the top hat, hammer weight, and things like that.

The Wok 15 trigger guard is another nice addition, replaces the thin ribbon of a trigger guard that comes w/ the rifle, as a plus you can put on one of several Ar-15 gripos that are more comfortable. Most people use Hogues, I fitted an ergo grip. JSB Exacts have been by far the most accurate pellets in both my calibers, The Kodiaks are also good, plus weigh more for long distance and bigger varmints. What part of Montana are you in. I called Montana home for 30 years, lived in Butte, Whitefish, and all around Yellowstone.
