New Condor
Got my Condor yesterday. And all I can say is Wooooooooooooooodam. When it first came I just had to try it No scope,Filled tank, open a pack of 32 gr Eu JIns, loaded one, took aim at a 2×8 and whammmmmmm right through like nothing was there.Oh my god what a rifle.Love it.Well after calming down I mounted my 9x24x50 Leapers scope and settled down to sight it in. Well ,indoors at a range of 15 yards I got it zeroed were I wanted it. Now for some grouping.All I have for light pellets is Crosman field points 14.3 gr. Didn’t want to use the Eu jins indoors, don’t think my trap could handle it. I fired my first 3 shot group. All I could see is one hole,cant be? Then I fired another 3 shot group and it open up a little. Cant believe the first group.Looks like only one pellet hit the paper, Un@#$%^&* real. Well the auto set safety sucks.The trigger is rough but, I think it smooth out with time. Can”t wait to take it hunting. Questions for you Condor veterans.Whats the best lighter pellet to use on the lowest setting? How can I increase shot count on the lowest setting?

Welcome Raye149 , When you get to throw lead down range and not hardly make a sound you will wonder why you ever shot it without a shroud.
Allot of times birds will not even fly when you take one, so you get more than 1 or 2 shots. The birds just look down from the tree and wonder why there budy went down on the ground ,while you wack another one ,
Yeah and a .25 condor get’s even louder!

Wow Raye, that’s great! Your post makes me want to buy a Condor. Of course my new found love for the .25 would necessitate a Tony special. I bet that Condor is loud. Are you planning on getting a shroud, or do you live where you don’t need one?

The predators will work great if you can slow them down enough. they should provide excellent shot count and terminal performance.
Seams like JBS’s 18.1 gr pellet are the pellet everyone likes. I’ll get some.

You can go to the “Quick Reference” section on the forum and see how to do a trigger modification. You can also see how to remove the saftey as well.
Pick up some Kodiaks they work well in the Condor.
