Q:

Marauder power

If my Maruader is pushing that buckshot at over 800 feet per second in the right spot that would be deadly to just about any animal in the US except some critters like moose or grizzly! I was impressed to say the least when I saw the chrono readings . I should try the two buckshot at once and see what they are pushing? not sure the chrono would know what to do with 2 round balls flying by right behind one another. 😈

Geez Foxback, 239 rabbits? That’s alot of rabbits! Crike mate! 😀

NICE, VERY NICE! 😯

Greg Davis has a thread on his website about tuning Marauders…it’s worth reading.

There is a little brass set screw that serves a jam nut over the metering screw. The brass is very soft. Use a 0.050″ allen key that is in good shape and fits tightly. I removed mine and placed it in a zip lock baggie. I did not replace it until I had adjusted the metering screw to where Iwas going to leave it. I degassed between every adjustment. (It’s good to have a compressor 😀 ) I think that I moved the striker all the way in and cranked up the hammer preload just short of maximum…1/2 turn at a time.

Your really going to like what it turns into after work on it a little bit! 😀

.22 or .25

Yes , I have not even tried to adjust it. I figured I would shoot for a while before messing with it. I read a few of the tuning guides in the marauder forum but have not tried anything yet. This week end Home Deopt for the depinger!

Is that with the stock settings?

If it resets and reads quick enough you’ll only see the 2nd round?
