Savage .22lr
Hi guys, need your input please 🙂
Anyone have the .22lr ?
Does it shoot well at 100yrds?
My CZ will print 1″ or better using Winchester subs at 100 and so any new rifle I get has to be as good or better.

My understanding of 22LR is the factory loads can be fussy in particular rifles… is the twist rate of your rifle different to your CZ? have you shot other rounds? was it windy that day? is the scope reliable? etc.etc.

Thanks SS, I know the .177 is well rated, just have seen mixed reviews on the .22
The twist rate for the CZ is 1/16 don’t know the rate for the Savage, I don’t have one yet.. hence the post 😉 😛

Any barrel needs to be “broken in”, so it is not uncommon for it to shoot better after 50 rounds.
I have their 17HMR and it paints 1″ at 100 yards all day long. It took 50 rounds for the groups to tighten up… so Savage may have designed the barrel to function better with some residue.
