Condor vs Edgun – Pros and Cons (What do you think?)

First, my impressions.
Accuracy- I’ve seen some very tight groups on this forum for both airguns. I can’t say which is clearly better from what I’ve seen. Is the Edgun’s accuracy that much better than a condor?
Cost/Value – Once you add a TT shroud, vented bushing, E-tac and JDS Reg… condor still costs less than an Edgun. I give it to the condor for cost/value.
Portability in the field or anywhere for that matter – Edgun by far. You can pole-vault with the shrouded 24″ barreled condor.
Ease of changing calibers and barrel lengths – Goes to condor.
Trigger – No experience with the Edgun
Coolness – The Edgun is beautiful in its design. Goes to the Edgun.
Reliability – No experience with the Edgun
Warranty support – No experience with the Edgun
Technical support – Ed answers most of these questions personally. Give it to the Edgun.
What else?
CO2 – Condor can use co2 tank for all week plinking. Can’t on Edgun.
Tagdagger’s arrow conversion kit – for Condor but not for the Edgun, yet.
Will Tagdagger ever have a conversion kit for the Edgun? A bullpup arrow blaster would be very cool.
I really can’t pick a winner because I neither own nor ever shot an Edgun.

I was thinking of getting an Edgun but at $1650 I got over it really fast.
I personally think for the money and performance the AA410 is the best out there.
I think the EdGun is a great gun. But it just priced itself out of the ball park for me.
I do not own an Edgun, but I have an S410 sidelever. If I compare what Ive read and seen about the Edgun, I would have to say the S410 is very close performance-wise to it.
The Edgun is bullpup, the 410 is full length.
I have seen Edguns shooting faster, but none that are shooting better than my 410 and the 410 is unregulated. Ive shot so many one-hole groups at 50 yards with it, it is boring.
I also have a Condor, unregulated with my own personal mods and it shoots pretty damn good averaging fingernail sized at 50 yards. Not quite as well as the 410, but for a hunting rifle I cant ask for better it just plain puts the lights out on whatever I shoot at.
Mines not quite as long either. I have a Walt turned 17″ barrel in it, and my own shroud which adds 5″ to the OAL of the frame. Thats 1″ shorter than a standard condor, and it is as near silent as the best out there. I still launch Kodiaks at 940 and Kings at 970 with a slight adjustment downward.
An Etac and regulator is in the future budget, but I dont really need them.
So the compactness of an Edgun is the only thing that I would trade my S410 or Condor in for, but I have bullpup parts drawn up and one day will convert the 410.
I grab the 410 when I hear starlings in the front yard. When I leave the house for a feild day, I take the Condor and leave the 410 at home.
Just my personal choices.

Depends on what you want.
If you want a gun that shoots very accurate and you don’t care about shooting allot of different pellets and velocities, ED GUN
IF you want a very accurate gun ( seems to be harder for most to get at its most accurate state) to change around ,do different things, and don’t mind tuning on it. GO from 10 meter 500 fps , or house gun,
Or shoot it at 75ft. # “s of energy and 1/2” groups at 50 yards. change adapt , play around with , go from shorty , to being able to pole vault with it. AIR FORCE.
I bought condor , 450 bucks on clearance and it got me into the PCP game.
But if i am able some day i would love to have an Ed gun too.
I have a Condor. It has a lot of improvements done to it. It also has the AirHog regulator and carbon fiber bottle set up on it. I had it shooting very consistant and accuracy was very good. I also have a Selph valve that I never put on.
My first Edgun came in and I don’t think that I have put a dozen shots thru the condor since.
They are 2 completly different guns.
My Standard .22 cal. Matador gets shot a lot. The only trouble it has ever given me is leaking cocking handle probe O rings. They are easily replaced.
I think that most of the US Edgun owners post either here or on the yellow forum. Out side of the O rings, I have not heard of a single owner having an issue with their Edgun.
With the e-tacreg, the condor is a whole new kettle of fish.
Crazy tight strings, with a bsa barrel and JSB Kings crazy good accuracy.
A real powerhouse too, around 50 fpe with the 2500psi reg.
But that Edgun is stunning to look at and ticks the power and accuracy boxes too. If I had the money, Id have my condor for plotting up on prey, and the edgun when I’m walking the fields.
