Stainless Steel hammer
Finally got my old South Bend lathe up and running I bought this summer needed more work than I had first thought! anyway still have a few things I want to do to it but I can use it now and get a couple small jobs I have wanted to do with it. Anyway here is my new one peice 70gram hammer with delrin ends on it, turned out good and thought I would post a picture of my first of many projects I am hoping to do. The lathe is an older one but popular one to get, it is a South Bend A lathe 4ft bed with a 9 inch swing not a big one, the longer lenght was popular with gun smiths so they could do barrel work, I got a good deal on it needs more that I first thought but was able to fix everything myself and learned a bunch about it by having it tore completly down and fixing all that need fixed, so that was a good learing experience for me! I now know my lathe inside and out for sure!!

Thanks for the advice walt I will do that, I have to think a single hammer will be a bit more consistent than two just my opinion, I am going to try and put it in next week and try it out 😆
