how to know my scope is broken or which is wrong?
I put bsa scope 3-14×44 with Ir at 2005 to my HW-97K .177 (tune up with ox spring kit). I also use sportmatch single piece scope mount design for air rifle. I have shoot about 5000 pellets with this combo.
I don’t know which is false?
I can hit a few shoot at 30 yards with less than 0.25inch (3 shoots), but after
that
I hit 1 inch up but still give me less than 0.25 inch group also.
this good group is move un predictable sometimes to the right but sometimes to above after a few shoots.
different result at 15 yards compare to 40 yards
when I got good group at 40 yards (at least one hole group) and then try shoots at 15 yards it will be too right about 1/2 inch from my dot target.
does my scope broke or my scope not alignment with the barrel?
thanks
markus

I have an RWS mount and scope on my RWS 48 and it’s held up for years. You need scope rings with the pin to keep it from creeping.
