Q:

jsb and kodiaks shooting to same poi

since i am also getting a condor valve i decided to save my kodiaks and start using the jsb exacts 16 grains.
jsbs shot to a max of 885 fps and a low of 850 fps. the average was 861 fps.
the biggest surprise was that i did not have to resight not a single click as the pellets were spot on.
that said i dont think i shall buy any other pellets except the kodiaks , they bloody jolt whatever u have shot as opposed to the jsbs.

have run thru more than 50. they are a loose fit in the barrel and the HW barrels are not choked. only the kodiak fits somewhat well and yes the rabbit magnum fits very tight. that mother hits like a brick.
but the fps suck 600 fps out of my talon and hits 4 inches below my poi.

shall post pics of something big just give a few days 😈 😈

Don’t forget that when you change pellets, you may have to run 50 or so through the barrel before it settles down to the new pellet… 😉

thanks mam ! the only reason i changed pellets is because i got 3 tins of the jsb’s to try and prob wont shoot them after i convert my talon to 18 inch condor. most of my shots are presently within 50 yds. so i will exhaust these pellets as i like the kodiaks for the condor.

Those 2 pellets will probably have the same POI out to a certain distance but
the Kodiak will tend to shoot lower as you stretch it out…. I like to
find a pellet that the gun shoots the best at long distances and then use it
for everything… Changing pellet weight just becomes a pain as you have to
reset the scope and range cards for each… If you are only going to be
shooting a max of 50yds or so then it really doesn’t make a huge difference..
