18" barrel probs.
hi guys i need some help please.
i bought my stealth with the 18 barrel .when i come home i took it of to blue it ,and put the 12 back on ,used the gun for a day all worked fine.
i put the 18 barrel on and the pellet never fired ,.when i opened the breech it was still ther .fell out a bit sqwashed then it done it again, then it fired once then the last shot got stuck again in the barrel .cause in the valve to dump the air.
was it me did i not fit the barrel right .? i put the 12″ in fine cos it was zeroed for 35 yards,so how come the 18″ dident work.?
iv put the 12″ back in and im gonna get the tank filled tomorrow and see if its ok .if it is what would make the pellet get stuck and not fire. i think i never lined the barrel up right ,what do you guys think. atb adam

Yeah, this guy got on here because all those other forums are full of dickheads, he obviously knows how to shoot, you and that other texican, I think he said his name was mamcrackin, could take some lessons from him.
And he has worked his fingers to the bone. Bone being the keyword here.
I am still waiting for the pictures of the sequin/swarvoski grips tho. 😯

When you load a pellet, is it pushed all of the way into the barrel, like tha back of the skirt is flush with the back of the barrel?
If not then it will cause a tank dump like you have described
If it isn’t flush, and you can’t get it flush then it looks like the lead into the barrel bore isn’t gradual like it should be.

yes its been used before by the previous owner .?
i cleaned it properly befor i fitted it .. ther is now a 22 pellet stuck in ther ?
could it be that the bushes are not fitted properly and cauesin the narrel to not line up.?
im gonna now go get the tank filled so we will see if it is me or the barrel.

no mate thats not it iv been usein the same pellets with the 12″ barrel with no probs.(air arms 16.1 gr deiablo feild) ther the best. or one of them.??
Is the 18″ clear, no obstructions in it?

The pellets are not being seated completely in the barrel or the diameter of the pellet is to small.
Air is rushing past it and pushes the pellet out.
Try a pellet that is kind of stiff to push in.
