Q:

Replace Burst Disk with Pressure Gage?

I’ve been wondering…

Can the burst disk be removed and replaced with a pressure gauge with no modification? Is it threaded in there?

I’ve been looking at gauges for paintball guns with the idea of putting one on the tank.

edward,

I got the E-TaCREG 2500 PSI and put the .22 x24″ barrel back in to start redoing all my loads.

PowderBurner has really got the low PSI fill down to a science along with the 0-ring mod that you told me about. Check out his targets. He even has CPHPs in nearly .5″ groups at 50 yards! I went to WM today and bought 2 x 500 tins for $6.97 each.

I’m waiting on a SS collar with full thread so I can have more than one thread holding the tank on. I hope to be back to the range by the weekend.

luker how is your low fill going i have always wanted to try that

i did the gauge one one side and a foster on the other, but when i did it years ago the etac did not exist or was not well known, i now would do the e tac, but my valve is already modified. but i can’t imagin not having a gauge now. just go for the etac

X2 on the E-TAC ….best money I’ve spent of my SS…but that’s just my .02 …..Greg

Look up “Edward” here on the TAG forum.
He added an air gauge and the Foster quick fill fitting. I believe there was one depth issue that he worked out besides having to tap the hole for which ever one had a different thread.

I prefer to have all safety features possible so I went for the E-TaC. I’m very happy with the added gauge, foster fitting, and the comfort of the drop and slight cast off like a high quality stock.

I personally think, it’s not the same threads. the gauge’s threads maybe bigger.

Have to find a very very flat one so you can still screw the tank to the gun. 😉
