Unforturnately there are no drop in triggers like you have for your MDL 700. If there were there would be far less bitching bout the triggers on AF rifles. Just buy a drop in trigger.

Having said that, this is primarly a mod site, so your dealing with people that like to mod their guns to bring out the full potential.

The problems is, it is hard to bring out full potenial with run off the mill parts, such as this trigger. If the triggers had been made of better material and hardened better, a lot of the problems we have with them would be easily remedied.

To say the triggers are okay after admitting that you had to remove the safety to get what you want, is like saying, “yes my wife has natural beauty and is kind, after the facelift and the new tits, pussy tightening, tummy tuck and physichiatric counciling.”

We have to alter the product in a way that most knowledgeable gun people would say is insane, ie., remove the safety, but with this system that is what you have to do, plus obey all safety rules to the letter, in addition to change the normal way you would hunt and stalk to make it work.

Perhaps we need to put turn signals of AF’s ass to keep some members from breaking their nose if AF quality control folks make a right turn?

IMO, the AF trigger is relative; relative as to what you have already as to what you WANT.

maybe the Edge trigger would work in the Condor?

i have a stone, stock, AF Talon with the standard trigger and so far, it seems more than adequate for my needs; i can shoot near one hole accuracy with open sights with it. what more do i NEED? now…what i WANT may differ…

I’m certain AF could make their triggers better, but at what cost? ‘decent’ (aftermarket) triggers I’ve installed on some of my rifles started at $100.00 and went UP from there…OTOH, the trigger on my 700 BDL and Savage Accu-trigger are absolutely wonderful!

if you find a good source let us know…if i need/want one, I’d like to know also…

i love my condors they r great guns when u administer some TLC to them any how my new to me condor 25 came in it come with a funky valve i cant remember who made it but u can ask mr-lame sence it his old gun but my condor valve still out performs it so far with a light tune ive got the 43grn eun jins traveling at 1070fps and im getting bout 15-20 goog shots with no poi change and also DAMN THE HOLE the 25 punches

Yes the trigger could be better . I just don’t consider it junk . I did the trigger mod & removed the safety & i’m pretty happy with it . Compaired to the out of the box triggers on 10/22s its pure heaven . I guess with very heavy springs & hammers it may have problems , but I suspect the best way to more power is with valve design .
I know there quite a few things that could be better on AF rifles but most rifles that have those added amenities can run 2K or more .

Yeah, with Crow’ on that one.
Pros’- Good frame(well dont lean on it too much….)
Good(ish) valve (as long as its gen’ 2)
Great LW barrel.
Cons’- Everything other than the above!!

Lets face it guys. To get these to be great consistent shooters, we have all had to do this and that to them, some more than others.
But there must be something right about them to keep them. Though plenty other people have them for 6mths or so and then we see them up for sale….
Stick at it and they are great!

come on sss
you think that airforce triggers are good?
ask anyone who has had it apart?
they are soft metal, crappy design
with all the guns airforce has sold they should have designed a better trigger for the guns
or at least made the trigger bits with harder steel
yes the price is decent but it should be for what u buy

If airforce stuff is so crappy I guess the 2642 members of this site like crap .
I think airforce gives pretty good value for the money .

im gonna do that but i was hoping someone could make some better than the crap AF sells

Call airforce airguns

In some cases, if you lube it with good grease, that may help. Anyway, hope somoene here can help you out, good luck…

its already been modified its just all the parts r weak and worn out

Don’t know where to buy it, but yel01z06 can modify it, he modified mine with 2 stage trigger, 1 small drill hole on the frame required.

If you need yours to be modify, PM him.

prices r good too
