Q:

Condor .22 to .25. How much $$ to convert?

Hi all! First post here. Been lurking for awhile but haven’t seemed to find the answer. So, here goes…

I have a bare bones stock Condor .22
I’d like to convert it a .25

How much dough are we talking about?

I know that’s not much info, but I’m dumber than Paris Hilton when it comes to pcp’s!

And what do you mean by fucking crude pilgrim? Laughing

Hey ,dude, I meant what I meant! If you’re less crude than me… I’m sorry! 😮 If you’re more crude than me… my deepest respect!!! 😀

Hey all! I’m thinking of keeping the Condor. I have to admit that I never really gave it a chance. Picked it up in a trade and just fired it to make sure it worked.

It’s bone stock and the first thing I’d like to remedy is the report. This thing is loud!

So, moderator/LDC is key. Any suggestions?

From what I’ve read and understand… I need a chrono. No go for now.

I have quite a few of the 16 somethin and 18 somethin JSB’s. Is that a good pellet to start with?

I just need a baseline (I know every gun is different) for now.

Thanks! And have a wonderful day (if miscreants can have one)! 🙂

You can just buy the barrel for like 200.00, plus shipping, I think, from Tony, Talon tunes at the top of the page.

A lot can be said for the 22, it does have a better ballistic coefficienct and will penetrate deeper given a relative bullet weight, the 25 will probably hit harder due to diameter, and the ability to carry more weight.

Just shootthe JSB Monsters in your .22 Condor . You will out perform most .25’s pellets at shooting ranges as the combination of speed and high ballistic coefficient makes it hard for the .25 to catch. Thanks me later(grin)

DOH! I completely forgot to thank you both for your replies! Much thanks!

Wow. That’s a little more than my poor ass can afford at this time 🙁

I just posted a trade offer for a .25 Marauder . Hope that’s a fair trade both ways.

Oh, and before I forget – this an AWESOME forum! Even just lurking I’ve felt right at home! Crude but extremely effective! I like!!!

There are two sources of barrels that are Walther on the internet, they range from 200.00 to 225.00.

That is all you need except ammo, well you need to know how to change the barrels of course, and you should already know that.

If you scroll to the top of the page, you find the TalonTunes banner, click on it and Tony will give you what you need.

Another source is http://WWW.RLAirgunsupply.com, he sells the same product but he is in Colorado, which may or may not be closer to you. I have bought numerous items from him and he is very good to work with as well.

i think tony with talon tunes has a whole kit to convert it to 90fpe 25 for 450.00 or just the barrel for 250.00 not too sure of the exact price
