are the .25’s not more silent because the shroud is longer on the longer matadors?

I think the extra length of the shroud does make the .25 quieter

was already afraid of it 😥 so if there ever will be a short .25 matador it will not be whisper quiet i recon

Hi fellas. I recomend the older 4200 Bushnell elite 6-24X 40 side focus. It works well for me. The little Edgun rocks 😛

I think that the .25 might be quieter, if it is, it isn’t by much.

It does make a louder whap, when the .25 hits.

does the .25 produce much more noise?
not talking about the noise of impact 😀

I really don’t think so huck… TexasB shot the .25cal the other day and said
he thought it was really quiet… I think they are the same but have different
sounds so it sound like there is a difference..<—– If that makes any
sense… 😆

May Jeff or other member who has both gun can answer your question. I only have the Matador .22 cal long version, I believed it quieter than the Standard or Short Version on high power.

Maybe .25 and .22 are the same noise level.

I have the Short Matador in 5.5/.22 and was amazed at how hard and fast it shoots with that 15.5″ barrel.

I owned a Standard, but wanted a bit smaller rifle. At 27″, I couldn’t be happier with power or performance of the Short Matador. I would love to have one in .25 caliber. However, I’m lucky to have even one Edgun.

Now, I am trying to find a scope short and light enough to look and function well on the Shorty. I have a Leapers 6 X 24 IR, Side wheel, with a 56mm Objective lens. Very nice scope but it needs a larger platform. It’s just too long and weighs too much for the Short Edgun. (Suggestions will be entertained/trades considered)

if you like the leapers try the mini swat 3-12x 44

We made only long ones before, now will try to make standard one for JSB Kings especially.

and are there already some revieuws to be read?

I thought he was asking for the long version review on this post… 😳

Hi Jeff,

He is asking for the Matador .25 Short or standard Version, not the long version. Ed never made short/standard .25 yet, but he’s going to.
