I think I creamed my pants when I opened the mail box today.
MY SCOPE HAS ARRIVED!!!!
Leupold VX-3 6.5-20x EFR
This scope is amazing. My 1″ rings have not got here yet so I can only admire it and just look at random things out my window.. the glass is simply amazing. Everything just looks crystal clear.. even at 20x.
Never again will I get a Leapers etc…!

It’s an awesome gun riff! I got my Greg Davis Marauder Air tube / Shroud extender coming eventually he said it has been made. Will add more shots per fill and more consistent shots.
Then I will make a range card for my current pellet / fps. Might turn the power up to 900 range instead of 840ish.

Quite the nice looking weapon you have there. I like the .270 win rounds for balance. 😉
I like the BKL rings, brings everything together nicely. Would like to see them made for weaver bases. That gold ring surely looks like a wedding band, married yet?

Got my BKL rings today damn mail came around 4 pm. Anyways got my scope all sighted in for 20 yards at the moment. This one is a keeper! Unless I win the lottery some how to get a Mark 4 😉 hehe…. dream on..
Anyways can’t be more happier than I am with this one. Excellent scope..
The target is 15 shots from 20 yards. Other side is my sight in processes.

There really is a difference isn’t there :lol:.
I have been bidding on a couple of good deals there, I like the lower mag scopes, but I have been bidding on a 6×18 varix2 which I gave up on for now.
I have had such good luck with the vari x3 so I bid on a 3x10x50 efr.
I made my longest shot ever with that scope, 2 out of 3 hits on a 732 yard coyote.
If I get that one I will have a mildot put in it.
There was a 6×18 mildot with target knobs and mildot that had no bids at all. Problem with the target knobs on the varix 2’s is that the turrents were made for varix 3’s and do not match the actual adjustments on the scope, ie turrents says 16 minutes for a complet turn but the scope only does 12 if I remember right. They may have changed that by now tho.
I am not sure you do not defeat the principle of a mildot with target knobss.
Anyway congratulations on a fine scope.

Over a year ago I traded Greg some CF tubing for some machining work.
Turnaround was extremely quick. From the time I shipped the tubes to the time my part was on my door was 6 days.
I wonder if he ever used those tubes for the rifles he tunes?
’06 was my second guess. Heh.
