Thread size please.
Could someone tell me the thread size of the cocking handle please, it seems to be either M5 x 0.8 or UNF 10-32tpi.

I have always used M5 metric for mine, and they are fine.
Also the 10-32 are used

Yes, that’s what I am asking is it the 10-32 or the metric M5? Or are you saying that both have been used for this part?
Sorry if I have misunderstood your answer. 😳 I’ve had the thread gauges out and the mic’, but the original is so worn it is difficult to tell.

Thank you Dave, I will go with the slightly larger M5 as this should allow for any wear.
