What to use to refinish Talon and polish out scuffs
My Talon SS has a few scuffs and scratches on the shroud. does anyone have any tricks for making them gone? I have a few scuffs from sniping through the bedroom window and rubbing on the window frame. Seems like a lot of these guns I see on here are show pieces. whats the secret ❓

One guy said he uses a small black zip tie to keep the safety off. i have pushed that thing so many times i would still push it if i took it out . LOL
I usually use a pillow or a towel when resting my gun, the frame is mint, the scratches are on the the shroud, it scuffed pretty easily as a matter of fact I never even remember bumping it on anything. i was looking for a way to touch up the shroud. I am pretty sure that isn’t anodized looks to be spray painted, not even powder coated.
Btw for what this gun costs and how nice it shoots, AF totally cut some corners, like the crappy grip, sloppy safety and subpar trigger. I was looking at some of your stuff, does that grip frame bolt right on? is it easy to eliminate that safety?
Oh the Shroud…sorry I missed that.
The grip frame drops right in and bolts on. I can include a small knob for the safety if you like which helps with the wire safety.
But if you want to remove the safety that is very easy. Just take off the wire and remove the 2 pins in the frame holding the piece there and the spring for the safety. You then just cock and uncock when shooting.

When shooting through the window I put a towel down. There is no use to touch up the frame if you are not going to protect the finish when shooting. You can wrap your gun camo tape to protect it from scratches or rest it on your hand.
But the only way to touch it up is by having the entire frame anodized again.

i like keeping my condor sharp, i even painted my shroud with bake on automotive header paint and i still scuff it up.
use a black sharpie on the frame, it works OK, and i use it on the shroud until i get tired of it looking tacky and repaint it again.
Some have put shrink wrap on there shroud , bet that would work good for a while. you can get it big enough around for the shroud , seems like on e bay and a few places on the Internet.

Camo tape is what I use.
