At a guess, it’s a rifle blank?

Contouring a rifle blank is a pretty common practice. Would suggest doing some research on it, or at the very least taking your time with it and not letting the barrel get any hotter than you can hold on to.

Best of luck with it,

Al

I’m a little supprised that that is the only OD that Walther offers. That would be a Varmit class barrel. Do they not have hunter or sporter class bbl.s there?

And since it is a bullet barrel rather than a pellet barrel, surley there are other manufactures of barrels in Europe. A lot of custom guns from Italy and Germany. So they are getting barrels somewhere! 😉

I am living in Europe and it is almost imposible for me to buy a barrel linner from TJ.
Maybe you can help me with an ideea about.

If you want a .257 bbl. for bullets, you want to get a TJ barrel. There is plenty of info on it in “other guns” section. Or ask your question there. 😉
