That really is a 10 min fix.
Thank you fellas. I don’t feel like messing with it myself. I’m going to send it to be made right. Another 2-3 months of not shooting the Condor, here I come! 👿

If you have a 60* file you might go over them also.
You could beg or buy an adjustable die. Chase the threads carefully starting ‘large’ and check progress after each pass.
The guy may have threaded the stub with the angles just not quite right or quit when it fit something he had? no biggy but frustrating for sure.
Go slow and check check check you’ll be fine

the barrel threads not cut deep enough
I thought so. But I had a barrel threaded and the 1/2″ UNF devices I have will only thread about 3/4 of the way down. Was a long wait to end in disappointment.
