Thanks for the kind words. I’ve completed my frame mod and now I’m waiting on my gunsmith to thread the barrel for the muzzle brake. My gunsmith suffered a stoke about the same time as I started my battle with cancer so we were both out of commission for awhile. He’s still recovering, as am I, but I should have the barrel soon then I’ll put everything together and post some photos.

quote 1dollardean:

My apologies to everyone for staying gone so long. I’ve been in and out of the hospital fighting the big C. I have finally won my battle and I’m trying to get my life back in order. My Talon P is sitting on my worktable in many pieces waiting for me to finish the project. I sent the barrel to my gunsmith yesterday to have it threaded for the muzzle brake. I’m going to do a small mod to the frame tomorrow and that will complete all of the mods. Actually the frame mod might be small for some but I imagine I’ll be doing some serious sweating while I use my trusty Dremel tool to cut a nice size piece of aluminum off of my Talon P frame. Then I just need to put it all back together, take some photos, and do some testing. My Talon P16, as I call it, should be ready for prime time by the end of this week. Hopefully I’ll be posting again this weekend. Happy 4th of July to all you guys!

Kinda figured something was amiss.
We all wish you a complete and speedy recovery.
As always, anxious to hear about your Talon P.

Right on and happy 4th to you too!
