10 for 10 on pyramyd
I was looking through some airguns on pyramyd that are way out of my price range today and saw a “10 for 10” deal.
Apparently for 10 extra bucks, they will shoot 10 shots to make sure the gun works right, and they will check for leaks on pcp rifles.
That would have been awesome a while back when the condor’s weren’t working right. 😛
Thought that was pretty neat.

Guess that depends on who does the test shooting….
I’ll go a step further… you send me your gun, along with a prepaid return shipping label and I’ll shoot it for FREE and test it for leaks…. ! If it leaks, I’ll confirm it and send it back to you!

Well that’s good… They will test something to make sure it works…. and charge YOU for it ?
Not only do they save cash by not paying someone to test every rifle and then just eat the cost of the few return S&H, but they now want to take advantage of that cost cutting policy and charge people who would really rather prefer a rifle that works once they get it.
I’ve bought at least 6 rifles (1 Condor, 1 Logun Solo, 1 AA 410ERB, IZH 46, Crosman 1377, Crosman 2250 that I can recollect right now) and the 410ERB came with a leaky gauge (easy fix so I did it myself) the Solo came covered in rust and the Condor had a bad valve and was sent back to AF…..
I think I’ll stick to just calling them and having them pay to pick up old and ship new guns.
